SHAWN
		Shawn is one of our most experienced managers at Best Friends Pet Care. She has been with us for 16 years and has been involved in the animal care field for over 30. Shawn started out her career as the Operations Manager for the Indianapolis Humane Society where she worked for 10 years. She has extensive experience in taking care of all different types of dogs, cats, and small animals. In addition to being Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, she also has her Kennel Operator certification from the Pet Care Services Association. Here at Best Friends, Shawn has many responsibilities, but she knows that the pets always take first priority.
		JESSICA
		Jessica has been working with animals her whole life. As a child, she worked on her Aunt’s farm taking care of horses and cows. Later, she started working at a doggie daycare facility and volunteered at the Bloomington Humane Society. This is where she fell in love with dogs and realized that she was meant to work with them. Here, at Best Friends, Jessica is our Manager Intern. In addition to administering our guests their daily diets, she provides them with endless hours of exercise, entertainment, and affection. At home Jessica owns three Siberian Huskies and a Maine Coon cat. She is a dedicated animal lover and one day hopes to open a Siberian Husky Rescue of her own.
