Best Friends Pet Care has been a leader in the Pet Care industry for over 18 years, with Boarding, Day Care,Grooming and Training Facilities located in 18 states. 

We see how well most pets thrive in the active, social environment provided by our boarding and doggy day camp facilities, with all the excitement and distractions to keep them from feeling lonely or anxious.  But we do understand that some pets feel better being cared for in the comfort of  home, which is why we have expanded our services to include in-home pet care, such as Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. 

Now what can you expect from the Best Friends associates who will be caring for your pets in your home?

• As with our in-center associates, all Best Friends dog walkers and sitters are trained and certified in many aspects of animal care. 
   
• Currently, all of our dog walkers and pet sitters have been employees of Best Friends and worked for at least 12 months under our watchful eye in our Norwalk pet care center before taking on walking/pet-sitting responsibilities.
   
• We run criminal background checks on all our dog walkers and pet sitters.
   
• We are bonded and insured.
   
• Our dog walkers and sitters are required to leave a report card with note documenting each visit.
   
• We also require our employees to report in to our office several times a day, to ensure that all pets are being cared for as scheduled.
   
• Because we have several qualified and cross-trained associates who perform dog walking and pet sitting services, we are able to respond in an emergency situation, should your primary sitter become ill or otherwise be unable to perform.  There will be no interruption to your scheduled pet sitting services.
